Our Foundation
CGWEF works to support some of the world’s poorest children. We offer children in some of the most vulnerable communities in Africa, hope for their future and a chance at life in Christ. We try to connect them to community through the various churches available in their area.
Our Mission
Show God’s love by meeting the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our students, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ.
In most African countries, secondary school must be paid for and costs range from $600/year and up. The Collins Geigert World Education Foundation covers the costs of uniforms, shoes, writing utensils, books, writing paper, everything.
In addition to scholarships, we also write letters to government leaders to be better advocates for children’s education by building schools and paying teachers better so that they will want to teach and because with better pay teaching as a vocation then provides economic opportunities for the teachers themselves.
Collins Geigert World Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Charity with the mission to help African children benefit from higher eduction there.
Our Objectives
We strive for the best outcome for the students we accept. We have a rigorous review policy before accepting students into our scholarship program and we and the students work together to achieve our set goals.

To select motivated and academically strong students from poor families.

To bridge the gap between lower secondary and upper secondary (high school) level education.

To increase scholars’ opportunities to access higher education and employment.

To raise students’ awareness of new opportunities available to them.
With these objectives always in mind as we work with our students we feel this will increase the success of our students.

Financial Accountability
Because the Lord supplies us with resources for ministry through individual contributions, our accountability is both to Him and to our donors. We have a responsibility to be faithful stewards and to maintain integrity and openness in our financial practices. We seek to conduct our activities with the highest standards of integrity and to avoid conflicts of interest.
100% of Donations Are Spent on Scholarships
Our mission and ministry is to help African children without resources or hope 100% of donations go directly to our students and scholarships. This means that all of your donations goes into providing resources. The Lord commands us to do good works and we take zero money for salary or administrative expenses.
Your Privacy Is Respected
Out of respect for donors’ privacy, we do not share our mailing list with other groups and maintain tight security on our list of friends and supporters.
Gentle Appeals
Because we believe that it is God’s place to prompt a response to our fund-raising appeals, we shun high-pressure or manipulative fund-raising tactics.
